How it all started...
Erosion Control Systems, Inc. (ECS) was founded in Houston, Texas by Jim Johnson in October of 1986. Over the years the company has established a reputation for design and construction excellence by becoming the leading solutions provider for erosion control and property stabilization. ECS has successfully stabilized and remediated the most extreme types of erosion created by weather patterns and slope instability that are commonly found in Houston and other bayou areas.

ECS was acquired in April 2017 by Erik Silvey, Larry Silvey and Chris Kidd. The company has established a reputation for quality construction with integrity. Founder Jim Johnson decided to retire and has passed on his knowledge and passion for construction projects along the Houston bayous to the next generation that will carry the company forward for decades to come.
